High Pay Rates
Our associates are some of the highest paid in the country. We always offer the most competitive compensation, while maintaining the balance of valuable benefits packages. While on assignment, you will be paid by our Payroll Department. The pay rates offered vary for each assignment and client.
Insurance
Low-cost insurance is offered for our full-time associates, currently with a 30-day waiting period. Dependent coverage is offered at an additional cost, and $15,000 Life Insurance coverage is offered to our associates at no cost. Dental and vision insurance is offered at a low and reasonable cost.
Daily Pay
Need access to your pay sooner than pay day? When you are simply working a shift or two for us each week we can set you up for daily pay.
Direct Deposit
No more wasting time at the bank! Enjoy the convenience and security of having your paycheck electronically deposited directly in your bank account.
Pay Card
Our pay card is similar to direct deposit. Your funds are deposited into an account that you can access with your card.
401(k) Retirement Plan
It's never too early to start planning for your retirement. You are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) program as soon as you start an assignment and can contribute up to 50% of your salary or $14,000 (whichever is lower) tax free. If you are age 50 or older, you may contribute $18,000 a year.
Referral Bonus Program
Whether you are a medical/dental professional looking for work or are just interested in sending quality people our way, you can also earn extra cash through our referral bonus program. You will receive $300 (per referral) once your referred candidates have completed their first assignment with Select Medical Staffing.
Housing (Travel Assignments)
Select Medical Staffing provides a professional Housing Coordinator who will secure comfortable and convenient housing for you and assist you with relocation to your new city or town. Upon accepting your assignment with Select Medical Staffing, our professional Housing Coordinator will contact you to discuss your housing needs and any special requests that you may have. Select Medical Staffing will strive to make your move as smooth and trouble-free as possible. We will also give you the luxury of moving in at least two days prior to your assignment start date (if possible) and moving out two days after your assignment ends.
Select Medical Staffing takes care of your living expenses while you are on an assignment. You will never have to worry about rent, utilities, or furniture. Select Medical Staffing offers free private housing — no sharing unless you would like to. If you would like to find your own housing, you will be eligible for a tax free housing stipend.
Round Trip Travel Allowance (Travel Assignments)
As a Health care Traveler for Select Medical Staffing, you will receive up to $600 round-trip travel allowance — half with your first check, and the other half on your last check (at the end of your assignment). When an assignment requires that you fly, Select Medical Staffing will provide a round-trip ticket. Mileage is calculated using MapQuest.com
Vacation Pay (Travel Assignments)
Select Medical Staffing offers our Travelers a vacation every 13 weeks, upon completion of your 13-week assignment. With a minimum of 450 hours worked, the Traveler will receive $450.
Completion Bonus (Travel Assignments)
Select Medical Staffing offers completion bonuses, dependent upon the facility contract.
Tax Advantage Program (Travel Assignments)
If you travel over 55 miles from your home, have a permanent tax residence, taking a temporary assignment lasting less than one year, you will qualify for a weekly tax free stipend for housing and MI&E per the IRS guidelines.
Licensure Reimbursement (Travel Assignments)
Select Medical Staffing will reimburse you 100% for the cost of a permanent license for states that you choose to accept an assignment in, but are not licensed. Reimbursement is available after completion of contract, with receipt submission.
